Santiago Buitrago (Bahrain Victorious) won the 19th stage of the Giro d'Italia, Longarone-Tre Cime di Lavaredo of 183 kilometres.
On the Coppi summit of this edition, the Colombian preceded the Canadian Derek Gee, while the group in the pink jersey is a couple of minutes late.
It should be noted that the British Geraint Thomas (Ineos Grenadiers) keeps the pink jersey after the 19th stage of the Giro d'Italia, Longarone-Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Thomas resisted a late attacking attempt by Primoz Roglic, who preceded him by three seconds across the finish line.
The gap between the two leaders of the standings and the winner of the stage, Santiago Buitrago, was about two minutes.
