Another medal for the Italian team at the Milan-Cortina Winter Games, and of the most precious metal.
On the Monti slope in Cortina , Andrea Voetter and Marion Oberhofer won gold in the double luge , beating competition from Germany and Austria.
The evening also saw a splendid encore in the men's double luge, with Emanuel Rieder and Simon Kainzwaldner also climbing to the top step of the podium.
