Dinamo's first preseason outing was a resounding success. In Vigevano, against the newly promoted local team, the white-and-blues (dark blue, almost black) won 74-69, led by American Bryce Nze. More of a forward than a center, with tremendous dynamism and offensive rebounding presence (five steals under the opponent's boards), Nze, along with Nobili (13 points), formed a solid and highly effective big man.

Monaldi also performed well, with seven assists and a +22 plus/minus, which speaks volumes about his presence as a playmaker. Aromando, who often had to play small forward, scored 10 points.

Coach Luca Vitali expressed his satisfaction: "I'm very pleased, especially with the reactions we got throughout the game. We're continuing to push the game. We played well offensively, and the young players made a valuable contribution. I saw excellent defense, especially in the second half. I'm pleased with the boys' work."

Dinamo did well to come back from a 13-point deficit in the second quarter and did so when both young players and senior players were on the court (9 points for Longo) given the absence of four players: Canadian point guard Kajami-Keane, Estonian forward Riismaa, point guard Pisano and captain Brooks.
