Today, the Cagliari captain underwent surgery at San Francesco Hospital in Nuoro for a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee. "Today, the player underwent a selective arthroscopic external meniscectomy," a statement from Cagliari Calcio said. "The operation, performed by Professor Massimiliano Salvi, was a complete success."
