Cagliari still ko. The match against Bologna at Dall'Ara, in the eleventh Serie A match, ends 2-0 for the Emilians.

Both goals in the second half: they bear the signature of De Silvestri and Arnautovic, who doubles in full recovery, in an incandescent final complete with a close fight and expulsion for Caceres.

At the triple whistle Cagliari chews bitter and remains nailed to the last place in the standings.

FORMATIONS - For the challenge of Dall'Ara, Mr. Mazzarri manages to recover some key players at the last minute and sends Cragno, Zappa, Godin, Carboni, Lykogiannis, Nandez, Deiola, Marin, Strootman, Joao Pedro and Pavoletti onto the field.

Sinisa Mihajlovic responds instead with Skorupski, Soumaroro, Medel, Theate, De Silvestri, Dominguez, Svanberg, Hickey, Soriano, Arnautovic and Barrow.

Race direction entrusted to referee Davide Massa.

FIRST HALF - Cagliari is short, closed and compact, leaving the ball to the hosts and focusing on restarts.

The waiting breaks arrive with Joao Pedro, who in the first twenty minutes has the opportunity to lead the counterattack three times, but twice he loses himself in the Emilian rearguard and in another he is anticipated with his head at the limit of the area even from Skorupski.

Same script before the half hour, with Deiola serving Zappa, but the attempt by number 25 is too weak to worry Skorupski.

At the end of time the first real shot towards the goal of Skorupski, with Marin who tries on a free kick and with the ball that ends up high.

For the Emilians a lot of maneuvering around the perimeter, but few headaches in Cragno.

We go to the break at 0-0, at the end of an almost emotionless fraction.

SECOND HALF - In the second half the teams try to be more daring. But Bologna is more determined and passes after 5 minutes. Medel's suggestion for Arnautovic who disorients Carboni and makes the ball filter for De Silvestri: the number 29 burns Lykogiannis and beats Cragno 1-0.

Cagliari tries to react, but with difficulty. Then Bologna tries again: Soriano hits for Arnautovic, who hits first with his left, with the ball ending just outside.

Mazzarri then proceeds to the first change: outside Strootman, inside Bellanova.

Pavoletti tries the squash served by Nandez but with no luck. Then again Bologna, with Arnautovic who from two steps tries to bag a suggestion from Barrow, finding Cragno's answer.

Tempers heat up. Joao gets a yellow card for protests, clamoring to Massa for a penalty for a detention in the Soumaro area. No way.

Mazzarri instead changes again: inside Caceres and Farias, outside Carboni and Deiola.

But it is still Bologna to go close to scoring. Nandez loses the ball badly, Sansone takes advantage of it and frees the shot, catching the post to the right of Cragno.

In the final minutes Mazzarri also plays the Pereiro card, which Zappa detects.

In the recovery, the schemes jump and you even come close to a fight. It all begins with a skirmish between Medel and Godin, then Caceres remedies the red in the ensuing turmoil for having kicked the ball landing Dominguez. Then also Pavoletti remedies the yellow.

In 10, Cagliari tries the final boarding. He does it with Lykogiannis, who tries the left from the edge, but Skorupski flies to save the result.

But that's not all: with Cagliari pressing, Bologna manages to find the deadly counter-attack, triggered by Sansone drinking Bellanova and Godin and finalized by Arnautovic who scores 2-0.

For Cagliari it is the middle of the night.
