After Sofia Goggia's success in yesterday's downhill, Italy with Federica Brignone also won the Super G of the Cortina d'Ampezzo World Cup, in 1'21''64. Behind her, her great Swiss rival Lara Gut-Behrami and the other Swiss Corinne Suter.

For Brignone it is the fourth victory of the season and the 31st of her career - increasingly alone as the most successful Italian ever with only Alberto Tomba ahead of her with 50 points - and the consolidation, after the third place in the Cortina downhill, of the lead in the general classification with 639 points.

For Italy, Elena Curtoni came in fourth. Sofia Goggia, however, was not perfect, coming in seventh.
