The increase in infections from Covid-19 and the discovery of the new Omicron variant worry Sardinian companies, who fear possible restrictive measures that could damage the island's productive fabric, precisely at the moment ofeconomic recovery .
The alarm was raised by Confartigianato.
"We do not want to cause any alarmism, but we see how in some Regions, and in some municipalities of our Island, new and more stringent preventive measures are already being adopted, with limitations on opening hours and accesses", explained Maria Amelia Lai, president of Confartigianato Imprese Sardegna, "all this the artisans, like the rest of the productive activities, especially in a period in which consumption and sociality are greater, cannot afford it. For this it is necessary, once again, to be responsible, and respectful of the health and hygiene safety standards in all daily actions. We must take as an example the exemplary attitude that the companies have held in all these months ".
The trade association defends the government's choice, which made the green certificate mandatory in the workplace.
"The Green Pass of small companies is called a sense of responsibility, the one that has been applied since the beginning of the pandemic - he added - by adopting the hygiene and health protocols and respecting with diligence and rigor the instructions of the government to avoid the spread of the virus. , because companies care about their own health, the health of their employees and the whole community ".
"Small business owners will continue to comply with the indications to avoid the risk of a new wave of the pandemic - said the regional secretary, Daniele Serra -, no business can afford further restrictions or closures: our behavior is based on this awareness. except to divide the island, as well as the rest of the country, on prejudicial positions regarding respect for one's own health and that of others and the recognition of the great sacrifices that citizens and entrepreneurs have had to endure in these sixteen months ".
