Cagliari, nothing to do: Atalanta conquers the Domus 2-1

Fourth consecutive defeat for Cagliari, who lost 2-1 at home against Atalanta in the 12th of serious Serie A, remaining anchored in the last place in the standings.

The goals all in the first half: Pasalic opens for the Goddess, Joao Pedro finds the equalizer, but then it is Zapata who gives the three points to the guests.

On the overturn in front, Cagliari catches the same: a great launch by Godin from the rear triggers Joao Pedro, who controls, enters the area and left foot - thanks to a deviation by Demiral - manages to overcome Musso for the 1-1.

Galvanized by the goal, Cagliari tries to play openly, but Atalanta closes every space and continues to push. And in closing time he gets the new advantage. Koopmeiners recovers a ball on the right, then from the left winger serves the assist in the area for Zapata, who evades the marking of Godin and puts Cragno in. The Sardinian goalkeeper only manages to touch and at the interval the guests are over 2-1.

SECOND HALF - In the second half Mazzarri immediately inserts Grassi in place of Deiola.

The first opportunity is Cagliari, with Bellanova, who collects a cross from Strootman and tries the power shot: high.

At 57 'Atalanta claims a penalty. Nandez loses the ball on the left, Zappacosta takes advantage of it and tries the cross-shot, the ball is dampened and Carboni in the postponement also hits Pasalic who falls to the ground. Piccinini goes to review the action and in the end does not grant the penalty.

Cagliari's break comes with a choral action, finalized by Marin who puts in the center from the right for Pavoletti, but the number 30 in the heel does not find the door.

Then again Atalanta: Bellanova loses the ball, Zapata jumps Carboni and serves Pasalic, who is hindered by Cragno. Then Ilicic loses time for the conclusion and Cagliari is saved.

At 82 'it's up to Pereiro, who takes the place of Bellanova. And it is Pereiro himself who immediately packs a good cross for Pavoletti, who hits his head, but off target.

In the end, again Atalanta, with the conclusions of Zapata and Ilicic, who, however, do not create too many thoughts for Cragno.

Piccinini grants 4 minutes of recovery and during the first the Goddess still scares Cagliari on the counterattack, but neither Ilicic nor Pasalic nor Zappacosta manage to finalize.

In the following 180 seconds Cagliari does not find the opportunity for the miracle and at the triple whistle Mazzarri's rossoblù are still knocked out.
