Cagliari will take to the field tomorrow for the Coppa Italia round of 32 match against Verona at 9:00 PM, but they're already focusing on Serie A and their direct clash with Lecce next Monday (6:30 PM, also at the Domus). The referee has been appointed: Juan Luca Sacchi, from the Macerata section. He will be assisted by Alessandro Costanzo (Orvieto) and Francesco Luciani (Milan), and the fourth official is Francesco Fourneau (Roma 1). Marco Piccinini (Forlì) and Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni (Bergamo) will be the VAR assistants.

Sacchi has officiated only one match so far this season, Cesena-Sampdoria in Serie B on August 23rd. He has five wins, one draw, and three defeats with the Rossoblu: his last match was on April 27th, a crucial 3-2 victory over Atalanta, and his debut 4-0 win against Crotone on the opening day of the 2015-2016 Serie B season (September 7th 2015). He also took charge of a Cagliari-Lecce match, which ended 4-1 on January 19th, 2025.
