In fact, the divorce between Cagliari and the Uruguayan defender is official, "purged" last December together with Diego Godin for the performances deemed not up to par.

The Sardinian club, through its website, has therefore communicated the definitive transfer of the defender to the Levante.

With the rossoblù shirt Caceres, who arrived in Sardinia last summer, made 15 appearances and one goal.

"We wish Martin a good continuation of his career in the Spanish Liga", writes Cagliari in their farewell note.
