"When you're winning 0-1 you can't make certain mistakes like the ones we made: in Serie A whoever makes a mistake pays, now we have to react."
Claudio Ranieri's message to Cagliari is decisive: attention must be maximum on the pitch at any moment of the match. «In Serie B they didn't punish us, now it's a different category. Too bad: they had found a draw, had the outburst to try to win and the match seemed to me to end 1-1. We have to be more practical, careful and determined, I'm happy with the team but sorry for those episodes that made us lose».
The new ones. The debut of Andrea Petagna lasted only once, starting party but replaced at half-time because he was injured. A displeasure that adds up to that for the defeat, according to Ranieri: "We had him as a point of reference in ball possession, with Nández who could help him, then we had Luvumbo in speed and we knew he could create problems for the opposing defence". Positive judgment on Wieteska: «He's an important player, he has experience and everything. Dossena and Obert are doing well, we must continue with that awareness that we must earn match by match».
Now there's a break for Cagliari, with one point in three days, then the home match against Udinese on 17 September (12.30). "We will work with the remaining ten, we will make a virtue of necessity," concludes Ranieri.
