Now a new stage for the documentary, released two years ago, which was selected among the finalists of the Tulipani di Seta Nera International Social Cinematography Festival , the most important Italian social festival in collaboration with Rai For Sustainability - ESG and Rai Cinema, and is visible on the Festival website and on RaiPlay.

The documentary with the most views will win the Rai prize for a Smile.

«I wanted to tell the story of my parents to give a message of hope, of love», explains Emanuel. In the documentary the two protagonists also talk about the discrimination and prejudice they have suffered since they were children.

«Dad is no longer here, but he was enthusiastic and happy, like mother, to participate», Emanuel continues. The festival awards ceremony in May.
