The Istentales return to the scene to tell the story of Beniamino Zuncheddu, with the song "Zustissia Mala-Libertà negata".

“Out” on the main channels from 12pm today, from Monday it will be available in all digital stores.

A single of social denunciation, in which the voice of frontman Gigi Sanna, accompanied by the music of Davide Guiso and the contributions of Francesca Lai (backing vocals), Luca Fois (drums), Sandro Canova (bass), traces the judicial affair of Beniamino Zuncheddu, farmer from Burcei locked up in prison for 33 years because he was held responsible for the Sinnai massacre on 8 January 1991, and found innocent at the end of the review process which overturned the wrong sentence, which became final.

«Zustissia Mala – Freedom Denied», explains the band, «wants to be a manifesto and a tribute to a man who has lost the most important thing one can have: freedom».

A natural transition for the group that has always faced the typical problems of Sardinia: kidnappings, emigration, feuds.
Themes, the association specifies, are "treated with anger and awareness of the serious inconveniences they cause to the image of the island".

The single dedicated to Zuncheddu, a further piece of 25 years of long activity dotted with tours with stops also in prisons.
