"We are simply ready for peace, for a just peace , the formula of which we have expressed many times. The world knows our position: it is respect for the United Nations Charter, respect for our territorial integrity, respect for our people, punishment for all those who are guilty and full compensation for the damage caused by Russia ".

With these words, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski spoke again about the reopening of the ceasefire talks with Russia, which have been a mirage for months.

"Everything the Russians tell some foreign leaders about their alleged readiness to negotiate is false," Zelesnky continued in one of his usual messages to the nation. "When someone thinks of negotiations, they don't look for ways to fool everyone around them to send tens or hundreds of thousands more people into the meat grinder."

"Ukraine will be free - continued the leader of Kiev - and our entire border will be restored. Both on land and at sea. Both east and south. Glory to Ukraine !".

In these hours, meanwhile, while Moscow's raids on various Ukrainian cities do not stop, where there are very heavy blackouts (even in the capital Kiev) , Thailand is ready to host negotiations between Moscow and Kiev aimed at resolving the conflict. Thai ambassador to Russia Sasiwat Wongsinsawat told TASS.

"Thailand - he said - is ready to provide a negotiating forum for all the parties involved in the war, if they are ready for a direct dialogue aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the crisis".
