One policeman killed, another seriously injured. The balance of the night just spent in Harlem, New York, where what the investigators call a real "ambush" took place is dramatic.

The victim, Jason Rivera, was 22 years old, the colleague rescued and taken to the hospital is a 27 year old.

The agents intervened in an apartment where a woman had asked for help over a quarrel with her son. The details on what happened are still fragmentary, however it is known that the 47-year-old himself, who opened fire when he saw the uniforms, lost his life after the shots fired by a third policeman in front of the escape attempt.

This is the third very serious episode that has involved the New York police forces in a week.
