Blitz by the German police in various German states.

The budget of the operation is 25 arrests, all members of an extreme right group "Citizens of the Reich" (Reichsburger) accused of terrorism.

The movement, according to federal prosecutors, was organizing an armed assault on the Bundestag, the Parliament of Berlin.

Also involved in the investigation is a prince originally from Thuringia, Heinrich XIII Reuss , 71, the group leader and a Berlin judge, Birgit Malsack Winkemann, a former deputy of the ultra-right party Afd.

Among those arrested by the police is also a woman with Russian citizenship .

"The German prosecutor's office - writes RIA Novosti, the Kremlin news agency - underlined that it has no reason to believe that Russian officials supported the conspirators".

As part of the anti-terrorism operation, two arrests were also made abroad , including that of a German citizen stopped in a hotel in Perugia.
