The United States reopens its doors to those arriving from abroad, but only to those immunized by Covid.

From the beginning of November, the White House reports, international travelers arriving from Europe, Great Britain, China, Iran and Brazil who have fully vaccinated will be able to enter the country.

To prove it, they will have to present evidence of the vaccine, together with the negative result of a test for Covid conducted in the three days before the trip, says the coordinator of the response to Covid of the White House, Jeff Zients.

Unvaccinated American citizens, on the other hand, will need a test the day before leaving for the US. Those who are vaccinated will not have to quarantine and airlines, under the provisions, will have to collect passenger information to facilitate tracking.

"I welcome the lifting of the travel ban to the United States for fully vaccinated EU citizens - said the European Commissioner for Industry, Thierry Breton, after a meeting with Zients -. A logical decision given the success of the our vaccination campaign ".
