The Israeli Supreme Court rejected the appeal of Shmuel Peleg, grandfather and responsible for the kidnapping of Eitan Biran, the little survivor of the Mottarone massacre kidnapped by his grandfather and taken to Israel.

Now the child, the family says, returns to Italy where he has always lived, entrusted to his paternal aunt Aya Biran, as required by the first two Israeli sentences.

The Peleg family commented harshly: "The State of Israel today renounced a Jewish child, its defenseless citizen without his voice being heard, to make him live in a foreign land far from his roots, from his beloved family, from where they are. his parents and younger brother buried. We will continue to fight with every legal way to bring him back to Israel. We appeal to the Italian authorities to re-examine the custody ".

Meanwhile in Cyprus Gabriel Alon Abtubul, a soldier of a contractor agency that allegedly helped Eitan's grandfather kidnap the child arrested last November 25, was released from prison with the obligation to sign. The procedure on possible extradition must be completed in 60 days, which can be extended by another 30 ".

The 50-year-old is the recipient together with Shmuel Peleg of the custody order in prison signed by the investigating judge of Pavia for aggravated kidnapping, abduction and detention abroad of a minor and appropriation of the child's passport.

The man was driving the car hired by Peleg that brought the child from Pavia, where his grandfather had gone to pick him up from his aunt for one of the authorized visits, to Lugano. According to the investigating judge from Pavia Villani, the presence of the man on the private plane who then brought "the unaware Eitan" and his grandfather to Israel is "almost certain".
