She had her three children tattooed and for this - on charges of mistreatment - she was convicted.

The story comes from the Kalmar region, in southern Sweden, and took place between 2019 and 2022, with the help of a man.

One of the children had a permanently drawn skull, another was only 5 years old at the time of the tattoo.

The parents of the children's classmates filed the complaint.

The judge who issued the sentence against the mother - who will have to carry out 100 hours of social service and compensate for the damages suffered by her children -, and also against the man, considered that the children were too young to be able to decide in a way aware.

The mother admitted to having tattooed her children and explained that she did not know it was illegal.
