Russia attacked Ukraine, particularly the capital Kiev, with 600 drones and 90 missiles on Saturday night, the Ukrainian Air Force said.

In total, the Ukrainian Air Force detected "690 air attack vehicles—90 missiles and 600 drones of various types," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Telegram, including "one medium-range ballistic missile," adding that 55 missiles and 549 drones were intercepted. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiga accused Moscow of carrying out "one of the largest terrorist attacks against Kiev."

In detail, Zelensky said that Russia used a nuclear-capable Oreshnik medium-range missile against Ukraine.

"Three Russian missiles hit a water supply infrastructure, a market was set on fire, dozens of residential buildings were damaged, several ordinary schools were hit, and he (Russian President Vladimir Putin, ed.) launched his 'Oreshnik' against Bila Tserkva. They are truly insane," the Ukrainian president wrote.
