Vladimir Putin has offered to freeze his invasion of Ukraine along the current front line as part of efforts to reach a peace deal with Donald Trump.

The Financial Times reports this, citing some sources, according to which the Europeans have been skeptical, fearing that the apparent concession is only to attract Trump. While the US envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, will participate in the peace talks in London tomorrow. This was announced by the spokeswoman for the State Department, Tammy Bruce, who initially reported that it would be Secretary of State Marco Rubio who would go to Great Britain.

Steve Witkoff, on the other hand, will return to Moscow "this week".
