"Two young men, aged 20 and 21, who attempted to cross the border using someone else's birth certificates, were discovered by border guards from the Mukachevo detachment at the Hungarian border," he said in a statement. communicated the Western regional department of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

"The men arrived at the Luzhanka checkpoint accompanied by a 52-year-old man, an old resident of the village of Korolevo in the Berehiv district," the statement continued. "One of them had with him a letter from his parents, issued on the basis of the identification data of the boys - aged 13 and 15 - whose surnames were indicated on the birth certificates".

However, the two were immediately unmasked by a border control officer.

Before Easter, border guards in the Odessa region arrested a man trying to cross the border illegally dressed in women's clothing. The man, who was also wearing a wig, made the guards suspicious as he wore sunglasses in the middle of the night.
