A memorial garden to remember the victims of the November 13, 2015, attacks in Paris. This recently inaugurated space of remembrance is located in the heart of the City of Light, next to the Hôtel de Ville, on the now revitalized and renovated Place Saint-Gervais. A green area with several large stones engraved with the names of the 130 victims. Work began in September 2024. According to the Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo is a "place of remembrance dedicated to the victims, their families, and all Parisians. This memorial garden also aims to be an oasis of calm and repose in homage to life and resilience." The Paris attacks of November 13, 2015, were a series of Islamist terrorist attacks carried out by an armed commando linked to ISIS, which later claimed responsibility; the armed attacks were concentrated in the first, tenth, and eleventh arrondissements and at the Stade de France, in Saint-Denis, in the Île-de-France region.
