Ocean Viking, the rescue ship at sea of the NGO SOS Méditerranée, rescued 128 migrants in the Mediterranean during the night who were trying to reach Europe, also finding two people dead on board an "overloaded" rubber dinghy.

"The rough sea allowed us to recover only one body," the organization added on Twitter.

Among those rescued during a five-hour operation are children, SOS Méditerranée said.

Two days ago the ship rescued another 30 people on a rubber dinghy off the coast of Libya.
