Liz Truss new British premier: homage to the queen before moving to Downing Street

Liz Truss is the new premier of Great Britain.

The 47-year-old, recently crowned leader of the Conservative party , officially takes the place of outgoing Boris Johnson, officially settling down at 10 Downing Street, the London residence of the British head of government.

An obligatory passage, the meeting with Queen Elizabeth, in the Scottish royal residence of Balmoral, for the so-called "hand kissing" ceremony (which can actually be a bow or a handshake).

Truss is the number 15 prime minister in Elizabeth's seven decades of reign, the 56th in the island's history since the office was established.
