The IDF has deployed hundreds of tanks, armored vehicles, and bulldozers along Gaza's northern border for the upcoming maneuver to conquer Gaza City, military sources reported. Regular infantry units will lead the incursion, supported by brigades already stationed around the city.

The "Gideon's Tanks 2" maneuver will develop gradually. The generals expect at least 3 or 4 months of fighting and believe that Hamas will not surrender.

Thousands of Hamas militants remain entrenched in central Gaza and in the displacement camps around al-Mawasi. And they are also adopting another strategy: in anticipation of the Israeli operation , they have moved hostages above ground, into homes and tents, to prevent the army from operating in certain areas, Palestinian sources in Gaza told Israeli public broadcaster Kan.

Yesterday, the mother of hostage Guy Gilboa-Dalal said she had been informed that her son was being held above ground in Gaza City, after the terrorist group released a video last week showing him in the back seat of a car.
