He tried to break into the FBI headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, armed, and was killed. After hours of pursuit and negotiations to give himself up to the authorities in peace, Ricky Shiffer was shot down by the police. His attempted raid follows a blitz by federal agents at Donald Trump's home , which has raised an avalanche of criticism against the FBI among Republicans and the right.

According to rumors, Shiffer would be a supporter of the former American president with links to extremist groups, including one of those who participated in the assault on Congress on January 6.

In fact, the man was reportedly filmed in a video posted on Facebook at a pro-Trump rally in Washington the night before the assault on the Capitol.

THE ALARM - The alarm went off around nine in the morning , when Shiffer with a pistol and a rifle , probably an Ar-15, tried to enter the FBI offices . The special agents intervened immediately.

A few gunshots flew and then Shiffer escaped, opening a manhunt that lasted hours .

The man sought refuge in rural areas outside the city, but the massive police deployment managed to stop him . So hours of negotiations began to try to convince him to surrender, but to no avail. Eventually, Shiller was killed.

The reasons for his action are not known and the police are investigating the matter. The fear is that this is an action linked to the FBI blitz at Trump's home and the anger that has arisen in right-wing circles, from which a call to action has been raised.
