A 19-year-old autistic boy was found three years after his disappearance in California, Utah. The young man, Oswalt Connerjack, was sleeping in a convenience store in Summit County.
For years, his family members had been looking for him, distributing flyers, checking social media and constantly and desperately chasing leads that ultimately led them nowhere.
"Any hint of someone who even remotely resembled him, we would have followed him," said his stepfather, Gerald Flint. "It was a real nightmare."
The boy was 16 when he disappeared from the house where he lived with his family. Suddenly, at lunchtime, his traces were lost: “I never stopped looking for him”, the words of his mother Suzanne Flint.
When the agents found him, they clearly didn't know who he was. They gave him refreshment, then also given the very young age they consulted the list of missing young people. Eventually, after hours of work, they found a 2019 complaint from Clearlake, California. And the parents were given the wonderful news.
