Giorgia Meloni flies to Biden. On the agenda are the Ukraine, China and North Africa dossiers

Thursday 27 July meeting at the White House between US President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni "to reaffirm - reads the official announcement note - the strong ties between the United States and Italy".
Meloni will leave for the United States to discuss "common strategic interests, including the shared commitment to continue to support Ukraine, developments in North Africa and closer transatlantic coordination with regard to China" with the Washington leader.
The two leaders will also discuss the forthcoming Italian presidency of the G7 in 2024.
