Gas leak, a building collapses: 9 lifeless bodies recovered

A two-storey building collapsed in Algeria, in the province of Bordj Bou Arreridj.

The updated toll speaks of nine dead and 16 injured hospitalized.

The accident, according to the first hypotheses, would be due to a gas leak that caused an explosion and the collapse of the building.

Last February 8 people were killed in the province of Setif in a similar episode, an explosion that took place in a residential neighborhood.
