The greats of the Earth gather in the city of Hiroshima, Japan.

The G7 summit will officially begin on Friday, but the leaders have already arrived in Japan for the bilateral meetings.

Among them the premier Giorgia Meloni who met the head of government of Tokyo, Fumio Kishida . "Italy and Japan are two regional powers that have roles of responsibility together with the leaders of the G7, in this phase it is essential that we work together for security, and for economic security", said the Prime Minister after the face-to-face meeting .
Meloni is the fifth female prime minister in history to participate in a G7 summit . Before her it was the turn of Angela Merkel, the Canadian Kim Campbell in 1993, and the British leaders Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May.

On the summit table, among other things, the new sanctions against Russia, including those aimed at diamond exports, and relations with China.
