Really a bad period for Boris Johnson, who while he was busy repelling the threats against his leadership in the Tory house following the repercussions due to the " Partygate " scandal, in these days he also had to face moments of real family anguish together with his wife Carrie.

The Daily Mail spoke of a "bad" infection from Covid recently diagnosed to little Romy, the last born in BoJo's home, who is just six weeks old.

The little girl is only six weeks old and, according to the Daily Mail, was hit "quite badly" by the virus even though today the worst seems to be over and she is "on the mend".

A revelation that also explains why Johnson was absent from the public scene for a few days: last Thursday Downing Street announced that BoJo had canceled a visit to Lancashire and was in solitary confinement because a member of his family had tested positive for the coronavirus, without specifying who it was.

The virus just didn't spare the Johnson family. The premier was heavily hit during the first phase of the pandemic, when he was still invoking herd immunity: a dramatic infection that resulted in an intensive care hospitalization before Easter 2020. BoJo made it and changed his approach to question, at least until the arrival of the vaccines.

First lady Carrie also fell ill with Covid while she was pregnant, a much less aggressive contagion for her.
