In Albania the polls have recently closed but an exit poll conducted by the Albanian news portal "Albanian Post" confirms a clear victory for Prime Minister Edi Rama's Socialists in the political elections .

According to the data released, the Socialist Party would have obtained 79 of the 140 seats that make up the Albanian parliament . The center-right opposition led by Sali Berisha instead would have stopped at only 54 seats.

The remaining 7 would be shared by the Social Democratic Party, close to Rama, 2 by the new party "Mundesia", founded by Agron Shehaj, businessman and current MP of the center right, who abandoned Berisha's Democratic Party about 2 years ago. Competing for one seat each, the former leader of the center right Lulzim Basha, also with a new political formation, and Il Movimento Insieme, of a university professor, Arlind Qorri.
