An international arrest warrant was issued by the investigating judge, at the request of the Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office, against Shmuel Peleg, the maternal grandfather of little Eitan, the only survivor of the Mottarone tragedy last May, taken and taken to Israel after the disaster and at the center of an international custody court case.

From what is learned, in addition to the 63-year-old, an identical provision was also issued for Gabriel Abutbul Alon, the 50-year-old driver, resident in Cyprus, who would have helped him.

For the investigators, the two would have organized a real "premeditated strategic plan" to kidnap Eitan, who is 6 years old and, orphaned in the accident, had been entrusted to the care of his paternal aunt Aya Biran.

The custody orders come after an Israeli judge also returned the baby to his paternal aunt in recent days.
