The victim is a 7-year-old Italian girl - Lavinia Trematerra - who was on vacation in the city with her parents, Neapolitan lawyers Michele Trematerra and Valentina Poggi .
According to what has been learned, the little girl was in the hotel when she was overwhelmed and crushed by a marble statue .
Unfortunately, the rescue and the rush to the hospital were useless.
"You are and will always be our rip angel. Love of our life" , reads a touching farewell message posted by the mother on Facebook.
