Swedish activist Greta Thunberg was arrested, hauled away and then released by Norwegian police during a demonstration in Oslo .

In recent days, the young environmentalist had joined the protest of the indigenous Sami people - who have occupied the ministry of energy policies and other government offices - against a wind farm in Fosen , in north-western Norway, built on the mountains used by their community to graze reindeer. The fight over the years turned into a legal battle that ended in 2021.

Although the Sami have won the case - as ruled by the Norwegian Supreme Court - the turbines remain standing and continue to work.
