The health conditions of former president Jair Bolsonaro, who has been hospitalized for twelve days after undergoing abdominal surgery, have worsened in recent hours. This was reported in the latest medical bulletin issued by the DF Star hospital in Brasilia, which speaks of "high blood pressure and worsening liver laboratory tests" and a reserved prognosis for leaving intensive care.
The former president, it is specified, "will undergo new diagnostic tests today and continues to fast by mouth, while continuing with motor physiotherapy and measures to prevent venous thrombosis". The medical team therefore maintains the reserved prognosis and the recommendation not to receive visitors .
Bolsonaro, who turned 70 on March 21, had received a summons from the justice system in hospital yesterday as part of the investigation into the attempted coup d'état .
