According to Al Arabiya sources, the US and Iran, mediated by Pakistan, have reached an agreement that could be announced within hours.

The key points of the agreement are an end to military operations and the media war, with an immediate, total, and unconditional ceasefire on all war fronts; guarantees for freedom of navigation in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman; the gradual lifting of US sanctions; and a commitment to respect sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the principle of non-interference in internal affairs.

A joint mechanism is also established to monitor the agreement's implementation. However, nuclear issues, the most important issue for Washington, and the threat of Iranian missiles are not mentioned. Finally, negotiations on the outstanding issues must begin within seven days of the agreement's entry into force.
