Earthquake in Afghanistan is a massacre: the dead are more than a thousand

Fear in the night in Afghanistan for a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that was recorded in the south-east of the country.

According to the USGS, the US Geophysical Institute, the quake occurred 44 km southwest of Khost, in the border area with Pakistan.

The hypocenter was located at a depth of 10 km .

The toll is at least a thousand deaths. The wounded are hundreds.
