In the aftermath of the Italian record , the blue of the 4x100 finish eighth and last in the final of the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
The blues are unable to repeat the excellent result of the semifinals and close at 42''92, compared to yesterday when they had closed the first two fractions of Dosso and the Quartese Kaddari in 42''71 less effective.
The race goes to the phenomenal Americans who close at 41 '' 14, just 4 cents better than Jamaica, bronze for Germany.
Two Azzurri at the foot of the podium in the triple jump . Andrea Dellavalle is fourth with 17.25, just six centimeters behind the bronze of the Chinese Yaming. Fifth with 17.17 Emmanuel Ihemeje. The Portuguese Pedro Pablo Pichardo dominates the race with 17.95.
