Marcell Jacobs outside the 100m World Final in Budapest . In the semi-final, the Olympic champion from Tokyo stopped the clock at 10”05, a seasonal record, which however is not enough to detach the pass for the last act.

The blue showed a clear improvement, but it wasn't enough: there won't be any Italians in the final .

At the end of the race, Jacobs explained the moment: «It went better than yesterday but I knew it wouldn't be easy. I miss racing, I could have stayed at home but I decided to put my face on it . I'm not afraid of being defeated. I know this isn't my level but I gave everything I could."
