The bassoon will be the protagonist of Wednesday evening at 7pm in the Sassu Hall of the “Luigi Canepa” Conservatory of Sassari. The sextet of the Hexagon Ensemble is made up of Claudio Lambroni (bassoon), Francesco Fadda and Roberta Dore (violins), Gioele Lumbau (viola), Paolo Tedde (cello) and Carlo Berretta (double bass).

The program includes the Concerto for bassoon and strings in G minor RV495 by Antonio Vivaldi, the Quartet for flute and strings in D major K285 (transcription for bassoon and strings) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Quartet for bassoon and strings in G minor op. 73 n°3 by François Devienne, the Divertimento for bassoon and string quartet by Jean Francaix and the Divertimento on themes of “Lucia di Lammermoor” for bassoon and strings by Antonio Torriani.

Friday 29 September, always at 7pm in Sala Sassu, space for ancient music in a concert in collaboration with the “Note senza tempo” Festival. Andrea Vassalle (baroque violin) and Alessandra Artifoni (harpsichord and organ) will propose pages of the Italian baroque, with pieces by Frescobaldi, Castello, Pasquini, Corelli, Poglietti, Veracini.
