She has just landed on the island for a few days of vacation, but still not much relaxation. There are services, interviews, photographers waiting for one of the most requested divas of the star system.
Valeria Marini, actress, showgirl and entrepreneur from Sardinia but transplanted to Rome after studying at the Liceo Dettori in Cagliari, is enjoying her native Sardinia after an intense television season in which she starred as a singer on "Tale & Which Show" by Carlo Conti and later on the "Masked Singer" cult show by Milly Carlucci.
And yes, because Valeria Marini has always shown a particular predisposition for singing.
In 2010 his first single was released, which was followed by 4 other recordings up to the last one which could only be titled "Baci Stellari".
But this time Valeria Marini is not alone in her heartland: she wanted to share the short holiday on the Costa Smeralda with her new partner, Gerolamo Cangiano, a love that recently blossomed after a rather troubled sentimental period.
Entrepreneur in the nautical sector, since last year "Gimmi" Cangiano has been a deputy of the Brothers of Italy and a member of the Culture, Education and Science Commission.
Everything suggests a solid and lasting bond, after all Valeria Marini is very generous in love and never sets barriers.
We asked her three questions between one break and another on the set set up at the Colonna Resort in Cala Granu where, in addition to enjoying one of the most beautiful coasts in the world, she is working on one of the next episodes of "Felicità", the talk show- gravure of entertainment, fashion and costume hosted by Pascal Vicedomini which will be broadcast on Rai 2 at the end of August.
So it's official, after last month's gossip, is the relationship with Gerolamo Cangiano proceeding at full speed?
«Yes, we came together here to Porto Cervo to this magical place because I wanted Gimmi to get to know Sardinia. He is very sweet, attentive and fills me with cuddles. We both have a hectic and intense life so in these few days of vacation we will always be together and I will guide him to discover fabulous places that everyone should know. Maybe next summer we will also go to the South, to my home town of Cagliari which is a truly splendid city. I will take him to the most beautiful beaches of the southern coast and to visit the main monuments of the Nuragic age such as the Reggia di Barumini, an archaeological site protected by Unesco. I'm sure that he too will get the 'Sardinia sickness' very soon. One cannot fail to be fascinated by this marvelous land, so rich in natural, cultural and landscape beauties».
A year of great satisfaction and success on TV. What is its budget?
«I must say that I am very happy with how work has gone in the last year. There has been a lot of talk about Tale & Which Show, in particular for the interludes with Cristiano Malgioglio: he is a great and wonderful artist, a poet of Italian song who has churned out timeless successes and his comments at the end of my performances, although a little ' colorful, they allowed the public to appreciate my participation and my commitment even more. The experience at the Masked Singer was also wonderful, a truly stimulating program by the splendid Milly Carlucci. And then I love singing so all the experiences in this segment of the show are a source of professional growth and stimulus for me ».
What awaits you after the holidays?
«Many projects as always, a lot of television and above all the worldwide promotion of the film “Billie's Magic World”, presented in absolute preview at the Taormina Film Festival last June. It is a children's film that alternates live action shots with animation and is a 100% Italian production with Minerva Pictures, Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment at the forefront, shot in Rome and designed for an overseas audience. I am really happy that Francesco Cinquemani has chosen me for a role alongside two sacred monsters of the caliber of Alec and William Baldwin and together with other extraordinary international actors. We are also in talks with Spain for an important collaboration but I can't say anything yet. We'll talk about it again, I hope, soon. Stellar kisses to all readers of L'Unione Sarda».
