Cagliari, 6 September 2023 – Inaugurated this morning at the I Fenicotteri Shopping Center “Un Mare D'Aria”, the Inflatable Art exhibition that is “consciously” animating the summer of Gallerie Sardegna, the sign that identifies the shopping centers managed by the international real estate solutions company on Nhood on the island (Olbia Mare - Olbia, I Fenicotteri – Santa Gilla/Cagliari, Porte di Sassari – Sassari).

After having fascinated the visitors and tourists of the Olbia Mare Centre, and before reaching the Porte di Sassari Shopping Centre, from today until 1 October the artistic forms of fascinating marine creatures, such as fish, octopuses, jellyfish and starfish, will they will float lightly in flight thanks to Inflatable Art, an artistic movement born in the 1900s with which artists create infinite forms, modeling the air. In this summer of 2023, walking in the "Sardinia Galleries" will be like exploring the riches of underwater life from the perspective of the seabed: a unique experience that gives the sensation of virtually "swimming" in the sea of air around you.

The exhibition, which enjoys the patronage of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the patronage of the Municipality of Olbia, the Municipality of Cagliari and the Municipality of Sassari, and has the collaboration of Legambiente and numerous territorial associations, has the objective of raising public awareness of all ages on the importance of protecting the ecosystem and the Sardinian seas, of promoting and spreading the culture of sustainability and the protection of our most important heritage: the Planet.

Present at the ribbon cutting were Maria Dolores Picciau, Councilor for Culture and Entertainment of the Municipality of Cagliari, Alessandro Sorgia, Councilor for productive activities, tourism and promotion of the territory of the Municipality of Cagliari and representatives of numerous local associations.

The combination of art and ecology brings together values that in our society are the salt for a more sustainable present and future. The contents that art is able to convey represent an asset to be promoted to nourish the lives of citizens of profound beauty and ecology is, today more than ever and increasingly urgent, the paradigm of social and environmental sustainability which is concretely reflected in the lives of every citizen ” states Antonio Piu, regional councilor of Green Europe .
