Two days of appointments not only for campers but also for lovers of "two wheels" and walks
After Porto Torres and Alghero, the traveling tourism festival arrives in Sorso .
The two-day international event proposed by the Torres Camperisti social promotion association with a large public and private partnership enhances itinerant tourism (not only in campers) and outdoor recreational sports activities. Even the choice of the date ( 1 and 2 October ) is strategic for a proposal that wants to lengthen the season, still too tied to the marine-bathing flows. After all, almost a tenth of the 65 thousand campers who arrived until 2019 are concentrated in October and the figure could also be increasing this year.
The festival was presented this morning in the Chamber of Commerce because the event is included in the "Salude & Trigu" billboard. Rosario Musmeci, president of the Torres Camperisti association: "The festival is the common heritage of all those who spend themselves in organizing it . This year the focus is dedicated to food and wine tourism which is a fundamental lever for expanding tourism ".
It will be an intense two days dedicated to cycle tourism , horseback riding , traditional Sardinian games workshops and kayaking routes and visits to the cultural sites of Sorso , from the Baronial Palace to the sanctuary of Noli Me Tollere. There will be conferences and musical events.
