Meeting at Villa Devoto between the governor Christian Solinas and the leaders of Anas (which manages about 3000 km of state roads in Sardinia), the CEO Aldo Isi and the head of the Sardinia department Francesco Ruocco.
"There are many issues under discussion - explains the Region -, from the construction sites open on the 131 to the 195 Sulcitana, which lack the final lots near Cagliari, to the infrastructural interventions in Gallura between Olbia and Santa Teresa necessary not only for tourist traffic but also for the economic and productive fabric and the commercial exchanges with Corsica characterized by a high volume of heavy vehicle traffic ".
Progress also emerged from the summit for the Sassari-Alghero construction project. The tender for the work - long overdue and considered strategic for the viability of the territory - could be announced by the end of the year .
During the face-to-face, Solinas also called for “an acceleration in the design process of a work of fundamental importance, that is a 'horizontal connection' between the 2 coasts . On the Sardinian transversal we are working on 3 hypotheses of route , with an expense that should be around 2 billion euros ".
The commissioner for public works Aldo Salaris instead took stock with Anas on the works relating to the 131 and 131 dcn, and on the severe delays that occur in the construction sites.
Furthermore, new works are also planned for the safety of the routes and the elimination of the critical nodes of Paulilatino and Macomer.
