While waiting for a striker and defender, here is the reinforcement for the midfield: Torres has signed Riccardo Casini, born in 1992. The player from Ferrara was purchased outright from Arzignano Valchiampo, a Veneto team in Serie C.
This is actually a return, because Casini wore the rossoblù shirt already in the 2015/16 season when the Sassari team was in Serie D and took advantage of the fact that the midfielder had been released by Bologna, who in the previous years had often sent him out on loan.
Casini then played two seasons with Arzachena (2017/18 and 2018/19) totaling over 70 appearances between Serie C and Coppa Italia. In the last championship, with Arzignano Valchiampo, he played as captain for 34 games.
