Toronto, Sinner in the final: beat the American Paul with a double 6-4

Jannik Sinner wins the semifinal of the Toronto Masters 1000 against the American Tommy Paul 6-4, 6-4 and goes to the final.
The blue is one step away from what would be his first career 1000 win. In the last act of the Canadian tournament he will face Alex De Minaur, Australian number 18 in the world in great shape, who beat the Spanish Alejandro Davidovich 6-1 6-3.
Paul had surprised Carlos Alcaraz, number 1 in the world and favorite for the title, in the semifinals, while Jannik Sinner had beaten Gael Monfils beating him 6-4 4-6 6-3.
If Sinner were to win the title in Canada, he would be in the same best ranking as Matteo Berrettini at number 6 in the world. In the race that only takes into account the results of 2023, however, he is already number 4, however today's final goes.
