Farewell to Tony Sirico, the well-known actor who plays the character of Paulie Gualtieri, in the series “The Sopranos”. The announcement of the death was given by his manager who, however, did not specify the causes.
Sirico, who was hospitalized in a nursing home, was 79 years old, was born in New York but was of Campania origin: his real name was Gennaro Anthony and he had starred in "Goodfellas", "Harry in pieces", "Bullets on Broadway ".
In his youth he had had some problems with justice and apparently worked for a mafia boss. He was arrested 28 times.
