Tommaso Accardo, known to all as Tommasino, Fiorello's historic sidekick in various TV programs and commercials, has died at the age of 84.
It was the Sicilian showman who broke the news, with a photo of them together and the caption "Ciao Tommasino".
Born in Gibellina, in the province of Trapani, but resident in Mentana, on the outskirts of Rome, Accardo had managed to carve out small roles in advertising and cinema . He was lucky to meet Fiorello, who wanted him with him in a series of commercials and in the popular variety show of the 2000s "Stasera pago io" .
With a mustache and the typical Sicilian cap, always ready to laugh and make people laugh, Accardo has become a much-loved presence among the great public. Who hasn't forgotten him, judging by the many social comments on Fiorello's post.
The last collaboration with Fiorello dates back to 2008, when Accardo took part in an episode of Viva Radio 2... Minutes.
